Customizing your Sony CLIÉ Handheld (Preferences) 94
Turning the Beam Receive feature on or off
You can turn on or off the Beam Receive feature.
When you turn off the Beam Receive feature, you cannot receive data via
beaming but your CLIÉ battery is conserved. By default setting, the Beam
Receive feature is set to On.
1 Tap the arrow V in the upper right of the Preference screen
and select General.
2 Tap the arrow V next to Beam Receive and select On or
Off.
• On: Enables the Beam Receive feature.
• Off: Disables the Beam Receive feature.
