your System

Active Super Woofer B________________________

You can connect an Active Super Woofer

speaker system B (Sony SA'WSSX: not

supplied) to the SUPER WOOFER OUT jack.

Turntable system, VCR, or DAT H

You can connect a turntable system B lo

the PHONO jacks, a VCR B to the VIDEO

jacks, and a OAT system B to the DAT

jacks. To listen to each piece of equipment,

press the FUNCTION buttons on the front

panel until "PHONO" (for the turntable

system). "VIDEO ’ (for VCR), or "DAT "

appears on the display.

For recording from the CD

Connect an optical cord to the OPTICAL

DIGITAL OUT jack on the CD player.

AU BUS H

________________________________

You can connect other Sony equipment with

AU BUS to the AU BUS jack.

Changing the AM (MW) tuning interval

(except for the U.K. model)

The AM (MW) tuning interval is preset at

the factory to 10 (9) kHz.

If you use the system where the

frequency allocation system is different

from the preset interval, change the

interval as follows.

1 Turn on the power.

2 Tune in an AM (MW) station.

3 Disconnect the AC power cord.

4 Connect the AC power cord again

while pressing TUNING +.

To reset the interval, follow the same

procedure.

Important

When the interval is changed, stored

stations will be erased from the

memory.

On pourra raccorder une platine tourne-

disque B sur les prises PHONO, un

magnétoscope B sur les prises VIDEO, et

une platine DAT B svr les prises DAT.

Pour faire fonctionner chaque appareil,

appuyer sur les touches FUNCTION du

panneau avant jusqu'à ce que "PHONO"

(pour la platine tourne-disque), "VIDEO"

(pour le magnétoscope), ou "DAT" (pour la

platine DAT) apparaisse sur l'affichage.

Modification de l’intervalle d’accord AM

(PO) (sauf sur le modèle pour le

Royaume-Uni)

L'intervalle d'accord AM (PO) a été

préréglé en usine sur 10 (9) kHz.

Si l'on utilise un système où le système

d’allocation des fréquences est différent

de l'intervalle préréglé, changer

l'intervalle comme suit:

1 Mettre la chaîne sous tension.

2 Accorder une station AM (PO)

quelconque.

3 Débrancher le cordon d'alimentation

secteur.

4 Rebrancher le cordon d’alimentation

secteur en appuyant sur TUNING +■

Pour réinitialiser l’intervalle,

recommencer la même procédure.

Important

Lorsque l'intervalle est modifié, les

stations mémorisées sont effacées de la

mémoire.
