Tuning

Listening to FM/AM radio

Select “Listen” from the home

menu, then press .

2 Select “FM/AM,” then press .

The FM/AM screen appears.

3 Select the band switch.

4 Press V/v to select “FM” or

“AM,” then press .

1 Select the frequency indication

on the FM/AM screen.

2 Press V/v.

V scans from lower to higher frequency

stations and v for scanning higher to

lower.

The receiver stops scanning whenever a

station is received.

In case of poor FM stereo

reception

Tune in the station you want to listen to

using Auto Tuning, Direct Tuning

(page 61), or select the preset station

you want (page 62).

2 Press TOOLS/OPTIONS.

The option menu appears.

3 Select “STEREO/MONO,” then press

4 Select “MONO,” then press .

Enter the frequency of a station directly by

using the numeric buttons on the remote

control.

1 Press SHIFT, then press

D.TUNING on the FM/AM

screen.

2 Press the numeric buttons to

enter the frequency, then press

Example 1: FM 102.50 MHz

Select 1 b 0 b 2 b 5 b 0

Example 2: AM 1,350 kHz

Select 1 b 3 b 5 b 0
